HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY

 

OUR HSE POLICY

 

It is the policy of Trinidad Project Management Services Limited (TPMSL) that the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors of this organization, shall be the main priority and the operations of this establishment shall be managed to reduce the impacts to the environment.

 

It is the overall responsibility of the General Manager to ensure this HSE Policy is adhered to.  It is the responsibility of managers and supervisors to establish implement and maintain the HSE Policy. It is the responsibility of all employees to ensure compliance with the requirements of this policy and any applicable regulations.

The company will ensure that:

  • Provide safe places of work and healthy working environments for employees and visitors.

  • Reduce and in due course prevent injuries at workplaces.

  • Promote Health, Safety and Environmental Protection as an integral part of the duties of Management along   with the education of all employees.

  • Supply appropriate information, instruction and training.

  • Comply with all laws and regulations covering Occupational, Health, Safety and the Environment.

  • Monitor the HSE Policy continually.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures designed to promote safe working practices and environmental protection.

  • Implement practices and procedures for the use, handling, storage and transportation of materials and substances and to eliminate discharges and emissions that can harm the environment.

  • Establish an Emergency Response Procedure for Natural Disasters, Fires, Medical and Security.

  • The Company will identify hazards and control risks and will consult with employees on HSE matters.

 

 

OUR QUALITY POLICY

 

TPMSL success has been achieved by a continuing commitment to our clients and to provide them with what was promised. This lies at the very heart of our quality objectives.

 

We have always taken on board the definition of quality as being, “ first time conformance to defined requirements.” Moreover we have adopted the premise that quality is driven by and defined by the client.

 

The Company’s Quality Objectives are:

  • To promote the most appropriate project management human resource solutions to clients through the assessment of their needs and demands.

  • To conform to every valid standard and within the context of the project.

  • Honour contract agreement and conditions and all ethical rules.

  • Efficient and effective management of company human resources that helps the realization of projects in advance of set guidelines.

  • To Create harmonious relations with the clients based on good intentions and trust and accordingly to contribute to the progress of the oil and gas industry.

 

 

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS POLICY

 

Trinidad Project Management Services Limited (TPMSL) is committed to being environmentally aware, to actively support programs that reduce our Company’s Environmental impact and to continually improve our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating procedures.

 

We seek to understand the effects our business activities have on the environment by supporting initiatives such as:

  • Reduction of material, water and energy consumption.

  • Waste minimization

  • Recycling of all possible resources

 

We will encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do same. We recognise that we have a responsibility to the environment to meet or exceed legislative and regulatory requirements.

 

We will ensure that this policy and all procedures relating to it are understood, implemented and maintained by our employees.  Applicable signage is posted at our facility to remind and encourage participation from all.

All Employees receive notice of these policies in new-hire orientation.
